My niece, Athena, had a flash animation class last semester for young kids and created this Irish Dance animation with her friend Evelyn. They got to experience and learn how frame by frame animation works, syncing movement to sound, and so much more. As a motion designer, I couldn’t be prouder. One of the best parts about growing older is getting to watch and experience our children, nieces, and nephews learning how to do the things we love. There is no doubt, if she sticks with it and continues to animate, she’ll be teaching me techniques in no time.
