Designed and created a flexible animation template, used to welcome multiple conventions to the Orange County Convention Center. The OCCC has such a beautiful style guide to work with, so designing the animation was a thrill for us and came naturally. We decided to approach the project very organically and broke out the paint brushes and watercolors. After many takes of shooting brush strokes, ink spills, and spreading the ink with a hair dryer on a multitude of surfaces, we moved into After Effects. The final animation needed to be compatible in 3 different screen dimensions.
